JACKFINN, a leading finance and accounting consulting firm located in the Washington DC area, strives to develop true partnerships with its clients, not simply serve as an hourly service provider.  JACKFINN measures its success by its client’s prosperity and financial achievements, not by hours billed.  We truly believe that if our clients are successful, that our success will simply be a by-product of that.

With a foundation built upon real-life CFO and Big 4 experience, JACKFINN’s leadership brings a dynamic and innovative approach to its strategy.  Its boutique nature enables engagement flexibility with both large and small businesses allowing both parties to evolve together as businesses and markets mature.

JACKFINN’s founder, Mike Empey, believes and champions these ideals by integrating with clients on both short and long-term engagements.  He understands that each client has different and unique challenges and goals and helps businesses navigate towards those goals together as an extension of the management team.

our clients tell the story best

Mike Empey and JACKFINN were one of the first calls I made when I developed the concept around Energy Squad.  What started as a great brainstorming partner has developed into a critical member of our financial and strategic advisory teams.  We are looking to shape the future of energy management at Energy Squad and view JACKFINN as a very important partner in helping us execute our future.”

Jon StovallFounder and CEO, Energy Squad

“Mike Empey and JACKFINN built our first formal budget and financial plan.  We are growing rapidly as a firm and now have a solid financial blueprint to execute from which balances today’s needs with tomorrow’s goals.  We are excited for the future and view JACKFINN as an integral part of our team as we move forward and strive to achieve our long-term objectives.”
